THE SECRET OF THE DRAGON GEMS is an absolute gem of a book! Told in letters, emails, journal entries, and video chat transcripts, this middle grade mystery delights in its earnestness, youthful life lessons, imagination, and friendship.

I had so much fun narrating this book, directed by Tomeka M. Winborne and produced by Nithya Rajendran for Penguin Random House. I narrate “MeTube” video sections, playing all the characters who appear on an online fan channel, as well as the “Wonkipedia” article detailing the history of another character. It’s always great fun to do voices, especially for a middle grade audience.

This book is a fun, engaging mystery with a modern take on a classic literary device, which really captures the youthful excitement and curiosity of the young main characters.
