I’ve been so busy this summer that I hadn’t properly celebrated two Earphones Awards!

HOT GIRLS WITH BALLS by Benedict Nguyễn is a sports satire that had me on a marathon of character voices for a good 48 pages. Many thanks to director Shereen Lani Younes and engineer Mitch Kuhman for all the support. Many thanks to AudioFile Magazine for the recognition and to producer Olivia Langen at PRH Audio.

As I wrote in my release post for GAYSIANS, I felt very represented in this graphic novel and am so honored to get to play K, the maternal one in the friend group. Thanks and congrats to Melanie Schmidt at Hachette Audio for this title, to Paddy Smith for the full sound design for this audio adaptation, and congratulations to my castmates Earl T Kim, Dustin Vuong Nguyen, Shawn K. Jain, Telly Leung, Greg D. Barnett, Katrina Reese Curato, Dara Brown, Susan Moon. And extra special congrats the author, Mike Curato!
